Axel Le Palabe

I am Axel Le Palabe and i have been skiing since I was three years old. I skied for several years in an alpine ski club before starting freestyle skiing. I was part of the French freestyle ski team and had the chance to travel all over the world thanks to the competitions. I became the French champion of Slopestyle in 2016. Currently I am focused on freeride skiing competitions. My goal is to reach the Freeride World Tour.

What is your profession?

I am a professional skier and also a ski instructor. I spend a lot of time creating content. My dream is to be able to live from my passion.

What does Vuarnet represent for you?

Vuarnet clearly represents an adventure for me. I have a very precise vision of my different passions, the different sports that I practice. Whether it's skiing, paragliding, surfing or biking, I see my future adventures through the lenses of my glasses.

What is your best memory in the mountains?

My best memory in the mountains is a bit atypical. It is the SOSH Big Air 2017. The organizers of the High Five Festival, which is held annually in Annecy, decided to bring the mountain in front of Lake Annecy. I had the chance to participate in the final, skiing in front of 50,000 people. Skiing with the energy that such a large crowd gave me will remain the greatest moment of my career.
