What does this warranty cover?
This warranty covers any manufacturing defects in your Vuarnet glasses bought on us.vuarnet.com
How long does the coverage last?
This warranty lasts for a period of 24 months from the date of the purchase on line (the “warranty period”).
What will Vuarnet Inc. do?
Vuarnet Inc. will repair or replace (in the discretion of Vuarnet Inc.), free of charge, any component that our technical services team finds to be defective in its manufacture. Vuarnet Inc. will also pay the shipping costs.
If you return your glasses to us under this warranty and if we do not return your glasses to you within seven days, we will extend the warranty period for the length of time it takes us to return your glasses to you starting from the date on which we receive your request or the date on which we receive your glasses for repair, whichever is earlier.
What does this warranty not cover?
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear to your glasses. In addition, this warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents or your improper use of the glasses after your purchase.
Also, incidental and consequential damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
After the end of the warranty period, you will be required to pay for all replacements and repair services.
You will also be required to pay for replacements and repair services if we determine that the damage is not due to a manufacturing defect. In this case, we will send you an email or letter to inform you of the additional cost. You can choose to accept the replacement or repair by paying the cost or you can have us return the glasses to you in the condition they were in when you sent them to us. In this case, you will also be required to pay shipping costs.
How do you get service?
Keep your proof of purchase in a safe place. You will be unable to exercise your rights under this limited warranty without it. How Does State Law Apply?
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. For any return, please refer to our return policy.
What about repairs ?
Repairs can be offered from frames purchased directly through our website, or from any of our authorized vendors. All frames are inspected for Warranty coverage before moving forward with a repair. All repairs are subject to parts availability and dependent on the severity of the damage. Some damages will require a full frame replacement. No work will begin on your frames until we have permission to do so after quoting repair costs or confirming warranty coverage.
For Vuarnet repairs, we ask that you fill out our repair form, which can be found here. Please fill out the form completely and send to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include photos of the damage, and have your proof of purchase handy for any repairs through our Limited Warranty. Once the form is sent in, our repair techs will reach out with the next steps.
What about textile products ?
Vuarnet products are, by default, covered by a warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase by the consumer.
Under this 2-year warranty, Vuarnet undertakes to repair it free of charge or to replace it, at its discretion. If no identical product is available, a product of equal value and similar style will be provided.
Please note that this warranty does not cover items with interior labels removed.
Excluded from VUARNET's warranty are damages resulting from normal wear and tear, negligence, accident, failure to follow maintenance instructions, abuse or objective misuse of the product.
In accordance with our health and safety practices, for the safety of our staff, we require all products to be clean before they arrive at our facility. If your product is not in an acceptable state of cleanliness upon receipt at our facility, it will be subject to cleaning and a fee will be added to your charge.
