- Advanced Glare Protection: They effectively eliminate glare through polarization, making them ideal for environments with high reflectivity like water or snow.
- Bi-Gradient Mirror Treatment (Lynx™ Technology): A darker mirror coating is applied to the top and bottom of the lens, while the middle section remains clear. This protects the eyes from direct sunlight and reflected light, enhancing clarity and contrast.

PolarLynx lenses are particularly well-suited for activities such as fishing, water sports, and mountaineering, where intense glare and extreme lighting conditions are common. Vuarnet lenses are generally darker than those from other brands, with most having a Visible Light Transmission (VLT) of 9-12%, compared to the typical 15% VLT of other brands. The mineral lenses are produced in Vuarnet's own factory near Paris.
